the wormhole has now closed

a 2-3 mile pilgrimage was made from the studios in Fredrichshain, winding our way over to the Skulpturenpark Zentrum where the meaning machines were hung from the center of the Tor and opened up for people to spin spin spin the dynamos and wait for a sign to appear.

relevance: the Skulpturenpark is a contracting geophysical space portal. formerly the no-man's land between east and west germany it was riddled with landmines and consequently slow to be developed. now it is just a matter of time before the land disappears under buildings; in other words at some point in the future we will have to stand inside of an office or apartment building foyer in order to trace the history of this meaning tor. it was very important to see the meaning/lessness portal open in this particular location.

trajectory (arch?): the polizei showed up and said it wasn't art at which I said hmm maybe philosophy then they asked what the fire was and we said a fire and then they left with no further ado. it did seem like something straight out of wittgenstein or something. then we saw these things in the sky (see below) which seemed to imply that the spirit of the meaning machines had left the house. so we packed up and had a wild yet serene sailing of the meaning ship through the midnight streets of Berlin, trailing pilgrims all the way (strangely enough).
