wednesday in berlin

after working in the studio all day Wednesday Tom and I trooped off to opera practice. the final performance happens on Sunday the 15th as part of wooloo's "New Life Berlin Contemporary Art Festival," and the piece we are performing in is "Powell's Opera: the Overture." this is all the work of Franck Leibovici, a French artist (I've added Franck's website to the links so that you all can practice your French). practice took place in an empty 19th century apartment with incredible huge tiled stoves in every room. I will save a description of the piece for post-performance.

observation that seems relevant: I've noticed on the s-bahn and on the streets that people do not listen to ipods/mp3s here nearly as much as in the US.
